Hi! Nice to see you again. I remember you from our visit a few months ago. As I recall we talked about the symptoms and risk factors associated with atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease or ASCVD. We also discussed how these symptoms and risk factors differ between men and women.

Today we will focus on two of the most important ASCVD risk factors: high blood pressure and high cholesterol. After our visit, you will be able to determine when pharmacotherapy should be used to treat these risk factors.
